BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - A business has launched a new helicopter
touring service over the Butte region, with plans to also expand a
pilot training program into the area.
Tony Laslovich owns Canyon Lake Helicopters and formed the
business with his longtime friend, Kyp Curtis, a Hamilton
pharmacist who has a pilot's license.
Canyon Lake Helicopters, based in Victor, Mont., offers short
flights priced at $25 per person in a Bell 206 Jet Ranger that
seats five over Montana landmarks such as the Anaconda smelter
stack.
Laslovich says the business also plans to expand a pilot
training school in Hamilton to include locations in the Butte and
Anaconda region.
