So, the Samaritan House stepped up to host the annual Sykes Thanksgiving Day dinner. The director of the Samaritan House says about 1,100 people took part in the dinner last year, so he wants to make sure they aren't left without a turkey dinner this Thanksgiving.
This time around, organizers expect even more people to show up for the meal
Samaritan House Executive Director Chris Krager says, "People look forward to it every year and some people, they don't have any where else to go. So, its nice to get together, give thanks, and have a free meal."
The meal will be Thanksgiving Day at the Samaritan House Administration building on Meridian Road. It will start at 11 and last until 2.
